Beykoz Houses
Beykoz projesi, Nef Yatırım firmasının Beykoz ilçesi içerisinde yapmak istediği bir konut projesi için açtığı davetli yarışma sonunda elde edilmiştir. İstanbul’un en fazla eğimli ve manzara yönünden şanslı yerlerinden birinde yer alan proje arazi içerisinde, en fazla ve en verimli konut yerleşimini yapmak projenin en önemli kısmı sayılabilir. Ortaya çıkan yapı kümesi bir “Boğaz Köyü” yerleşkesi olarak ele alınmış ve tekil yapı özelinde Boğaz Yalısı cephe tipoloji ve oranı gözetilerek tasarlanmıştır. Farklı cephe malzeme ve yükseklikleri; projenin boğazdan görülen kısmı, kent için bir cephe olarak ele alınmıştır. Yapı arasındaki yollar manzaraya açılan kent parçaları olarak düşünülmüştür.
The Beykoz project was achieved as a result of an invited competition opened by Nef Investment company for a housing project it wanted to build in the Beykoz district. The most important part of the project is located in one of the most sloping and scenic areas of Istanbul. The resulting cluster of buildings was considered as a “Boğaz Village” campus and the Bosphorus Mansion was designed considering the façade typology and proportion of the individual building. Different façade materials and heights; the part of the project seen from the Bosphorus was considered as a facade for the city. The roads between the buildings are considered as city parts opening to the view.
Tasarım, eğimli topoğrafyayı bir "yapısal baza"ya dönüştürerek sosyal donatıları ve peyzajı bu yüzeyden türetir. Yoğun metrekare dağılımı, "karmaşık düzen" yaklaşımıyla parçalanarak kütle dominasyonu kırılmıştır. Taş bazalar üzerinde yükselen ahşap ve beyaz dokulu kütleler, geleneksel Boğaz köylerinin katmanlı yapısını çağdaş bir dille yeniden yorumlar.
The design transforms the sloping topography into a "structural base," deriving social amenities and landscapes from this surface. The "complex order" approach breaks the mass dominance of the dense program. Wood and white-textured volumes rising above stone bases reinterpret the layered structure of traditional Bosphorus villages through a contemporary lens.
Masterplan kurgusu, denize inen ana akslar ve bu akslar etrafında şekillenen kamusal "arayüzler" üzerine kurulmuştur. Yapı blokları arasından manzaraya açılan boşluklar ve rüzgar koridorları, yerleşimin kentsel konforunu sağlar. Benzer yapı tipleri, topoğrafik baza üzerinde farklı kabuklarla çeşitlenerek, İstanbul silüetinin karakteristik bir parçası olacak dinamik bir doku oluşturur.
The masterplan is built around main axes descending to the sea and public "interfaces" shaped along these routes. Voids between blocks and wind corridors opening to the view ensure urban comfort within the settlement. Similar building types vary through different shells on the topographic base, creating a dynamic fabric that becomes a characteristic part of the Istanbul skyline.
