Rotafılo Factory
Rotafilo, havacılık sektöründe faaliyet gösteren, uçakların bakımları için yedek parça üreten Eskişehir’li bir şirket. İş hacmi büyüdükçe yıllar içerisine daha büyük bir çalışma alanına ihtiyaç duyuldu. Proje bu ihtiyacın karşılanması için; firmanın Eskişehir’in yeni sanayi sitesi İmişehir’deki yeni arsası üzerine tasarlanmıştır.
Rotafilo is a company from Eskişehir that operates in the aviation industry and produces spare parts for the maintenance of aircraft. As the business volume grew, a larger work area was needed over the years. The project meets this need of the company; Eskişehir's new industrial site was designed on its new land in İmişehir.
Yapı, üretim ve yönetim bloğu olarak iki ana kütleden oluşur. Üretim bloğunda kullanılan prefabrik yapı sisteminin modülerliği ve elemanların bıraktığı "ham" doku, yönetim binasında da devam ettirilerek yapının bütüncül mimari kimliği oluşturulmuştur. Yönetim yapısına giriş, kütle plastiğini vurgulayan bir araç rampasıyla sağlanır. İki bloğu birbirine bağlayan köprü, yapının görsel dengesini kurarken kütlesel kompozisyonun en belirgin ögesi olarak öne çıkar.
The building consists of two main masses: the production and management blocks. The modularity of the prefabricated construction system and the "raw" texture of the elements in the production block are continued in the management building, establishing a holistic architectural identity. Access to the management building is provided by a vehicle ramp that emphasizes the massing. The bridge connecting the two blocks acts as the most prominent visual element, establishing the structural balance of the composition.
Kaotik üretim akışı, plan düzleminde dört farklı mekansal birim olarak yeniden organize edilmiştir. Üretim bandı içerisindeki mühendislik birimleri, üst kotta konumlanarak sahaya hakim bir "denetim" noktası oluşturur. Bu blok, üretim ve yönetim arasındaki operasyonel akışkanlığı sağlayan bir köprü ile ofis yapısına bağlanır. Yönetim kütlesi ise kesit düzleminde yukarıdan aşağıya doğru; özel ofisler, kamusal alanlar ve sosyal birimler (yemekhane/dinlenme) şeklinde hiyerarşik bir sırayla kurgulanmıştır.
The chaotic production flow has been reorganized as four distinct spatial units on the plan. Engineering units within the production line are positioned at an upper level to function as a commanding "inspection" point. This block connects to the office building via a bridge that ensures operational fluidity between production and management. The management mass is organized hierarchically in section, descending from private offices to public spaces and social units (cafeteria/recreation).
