Proje parselinin mevcut durumu incelendiğinde, parselin batısı belirgin yükseklik farkıyla otoyollarla çevrili olup, farklı işlevlere sahip iki mevcut bina bulunmaktadır. Önerilen projeye yönelik birincil tepki, mevcut master planın dikkat çekici ve yine de yerel bir unsur olarak çözülmesidir. Bu amaca ulaşmak için önerilen proje, hem doğal hem de fiziksel çevreyi birbirine bağlamak için çeşitli seçenekler arıyor. Sahip olduğu derslik, laboratuvar gibi işlevlerden dolayı; Yeni bina geniş bir alan gerektirdiğinden, önerilen yeni bina alanın güney tarafında kuruluyor.

 

Examining the current status of the project plot, the site is surrounded by highways with a notable height difference in the west and there are two existing buildings with different functions. The primary reaction for the proposed project is to resolve the existing master plan while being noticeable and yet a native element. To achieve this goal, the proposed project seeks several options to connect both the natural and physical environment. Due to the functions it has, such as classrooms, laboratories; The new building requires a large area, so the proposed new building is installed on the south side of the area.

Yoğun şehir dokusu içinde sessiz bir "kentsel boşluk" oluşturan tasarım, mevcut park kotunun altında konumlanarak kamusal alanı genişletir. İki parkı -8,50 kotunda bağlayan kentsel koridor, tarihi sürekliliği yer altında yeniden kurarken mevcut müze yapısıyla doğal bir akrabalık kurar.

 

Creating a silent "urban void" within the dense city fabric, the design expands public space by positioning itself beneath the park level. An urban corridor at the -8.50 level reconnects two parks, re-establishing historical continuity underground while forming a natural kinship with the existing museum.

Üç seviyede kurgulanan müzede; -4,50 kotunda girişler, -8,50’de metro bağlantılı kentsel koridor ve -12,50’de esnek sergi holü yer alır. Parçalı açık mekanlar, dış sergi alanları ve teras bahçeleri, yer altı programını doğal ışıkla besleyerek ferah alanlar oluşturur.

 

Organized across three levels, the museum features entrances at -4.50, a metro-linked urban corridor at -8.50, and flexible exhibition halls at -12.50. Fragmented open spaces, outdoor galleries, and terrace gardens nourish the underground program with natural light and create defined, airy environments.
