Çanakkale Lapseki'de, Gelibolu Körfezi'ne hakim bir noktada yer alan Çelik Ev, projenin evrilen tasarım sürecinin özgün bir ürünüdür. Başlangıçta 12x12 metrelik bir su deposu temeli olarak inşa edilen yapı, sürecin değişmesiyle konut işlevine dönüştürülmüştür. Mevcut temel sınırları kabul edilerek, 4 metrelik aks aralıklarıyla kurgulanan çelik strüktür, yapıyı 3 parçalı bir ızgara sisteme oturtur. Bu 4x4 metrelik modüller iç mekan hiyerarşisini belirler; örneğin üst kattaki teras, bu modüllerden ikisinin birleşimiyle şekillenerek tarımsal peyzaj ve deniz manzarasıyla bütünleşir.
Located in Lapseki, Çanakkale, overlooking the Gallipoli Bay, the Steel House is a unique product of an evolving design process. Initially built as a 12x12 meter foundation for a water tank, the structure was transformed into a residence as the project shifted. Adhering to the existing foundation limits, the steel structure is organized on a 3-part grid system with 4-meter axial spans. These 4x4 meter modules define the interior hierarchy; for instance, the upper-level terrace is formed by the combination of two modules, integrating with the agricultural landscape and sea view.
Uzun ve değişken bir tasarım sürecinin ürünü olan Çelik Ev, çelik sistemin sunduğu ham estetikle tarımsal peyzaja eklemlenir. 12 metrelik kare form, mevcut temel sınırlarından miras kalan dış hatları modern ve şeffaf bir yaşam senaryosuna dönüştürür. Körfeze hakim duruşu, yapının teknik geçmişini dingin bir konut kimliğiyle dengeler.
A product of a long and variable design process, the Steel House integrates into the agricultural landscape with the raw aesthetics of its steel system. The 12-meter square form transforms the inherited foundation limits into a modern and transparent living scenario. Its dominant stance over the bay balances the structure's technical past with a serene residential identity.
Yapı, 4 metrelik akslarla üç parçaya bölünen rasyonel bir ızgara sistem üzerine kurgulanmıştır. 4x4 metrelik modüller, iç mekan hiyerarşisini tanımlayan temel partisyonlardır. Üst kattaki teras gibi geniş hacimlerin bu modüler disiplin üzerinden rasyonel bir dille çözümlenmesi, plan düzleminde hem esneklik hem de mekansal düzen sağlar.
The building is organized on a rational grid system divided into three parts with 4-meter spans. The 4x4 meter modules are the primary partitions defining the interior hierarchy. Resolving large volumes like the upper-floor terrace through this modular discipline provides both flexibility and spatial order within the plan.
